Statement Florals

When planning your wedding florals it’s sometimes tricky to know where to start. Don’t worry if you know nothing about flowers & aren’t sure what you are after, this is where a professional Florist will step in to help!

When you are trying to stick to a budget it’s worth deciding what areas you want to focus on decorating. Putting your budget towards a large scale piece rather than having lots of small items is often a good idea. Having a statement floral arch or hanging installation is a great way to create impact and really transform a space, these are the sort of wow factor designs that your guests will really notice!

One stunning local venue, which is perfect for hanging floral arrangements is The Barn at Redcoats. A huge rustic barn with pulley systems on the 3 central beams, making it a Florist’s dream to work at!

The “Broken Arch” is a really popular design that is also really versatile. These great flower column pieces can create a dramatic entrance to your church, a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony or a great photobooth area.

I am always keen to repurpose designs as much as possible, so if you use something like this for your ceremony space (depending on scale) it can then be moved to another area to decorate your reception space.
