A Little Update
It has been a little while since I did a blog post, and I wanted to let you guys know what has been going on behind the scenes and what we have planned for Willow & Blossom when the world gets back to normal!
Around October 2020 after months of little/no work, the opportunity to move premises came up. It was a larger unit, on a farm with the potential for it to work as a shop, as well as a workshop. In all honesty I had never considered the option of a retail premises but it seemed like a great opportunity to change things up after the pandemic had put a stop to weddings for a while. Fast forward to April 2021 and after a lot of hard work I have just opened my very own shop!
Willow & Blossom - Florist & Gift Shop is located on Offley Hoo Farm, SG5 3ED. Not far from Hitchin, Hertfordshire. There is a community of other businesses on the farm, including The Barn Coffee Shop , Liam's Traditional Butchers , Megan's Crafty Creations, K.T.C Balloons , Skininspire , Beauty in the Brow , The Emporium, Hoo's Garden, Baa-bers , Luke's Patisserie & lots more still to open! There will be summer BBQ's & events so it's set to be a great little place to visit.
The shop has a range of different products, perfect for gifting or for treating yourself to! Lots of fresh flowers, dried flowers, houseplants, gifts & products from other small independents. Stock will be updated regularly and new independents involved as much as possible to support other small businesses.
Next to the shop we also have a large studio space perfect for our creative workshops! There will be lots of floral workshops planned for this year & we will also have other local creatives in to host their own events. All information will be available on the website in the coming weeks.
We still have lots of weddings in the diary from June onwards & we will hopefully be hosting another one our open days involving other wedding suppliers at some point this year.
Now the shop is open we are able to offer more of a regular delivery service for local bouquet orders and our online shop is being updated shortly.
We also have a range of sympathy tributes available to order online or we are happy to discuss your requirements and come up with something to suit.
